Healthify has had a productive start to 2016. With the launch of our API and improved SAML 2.0 integrations, you can start using Healthify without disrupting your team's workflow.
We've also launched a new status page, added translations of Healthify in over 80 languages, and began taking steps towards becoming HITRUST certified.
Acronyms like SAML 2.0 SSO and API might sound like jargon to a lot of people but these are the foundation of effectively integrating with any Healthcare IT system.
SAML 2.0 is an open standard used for authenticating users from one system to another through a process called Single Sign-On (SSO). This allows your team to access Healthify without having to log in multiple times. It is perhaps the easiest way to deploy Healthify alongside an existing healthcare IT system.
Once your team is using Healthify and collecting PHI, we make it possible to share that information with your care management platform and electronic health record systems. Our application programming interface (API) makes it easy to obtain that information electronically and securely over the internet.
In all of our partnerships, we establish a Service Level Agreement (SLA) and a large component to that is guaranteeing over 99.5% uptime. We pride ourselves on transparency and reliability. That's why we recently launched a new status page so that anyone can check our uptime statistics, see scheduled platform downtime, and subscribe to status monitoring on all of the Healthify-related web services.
When you're operating in over 20 states and touching millions of lives, you realize just how diverse a country we live in. We are commited to providing a positive experience for every single person who comes into contact with Healthify. A large part of that commitment is having the ability share the information in our systems in your clients' native language. With our new translation featuress, you can instantly translate the entire Healthify application into over 90 languages.
First Steps to HITRUST
Security and compliance are top-of-mind priorities for many in the healthcare IT industry today. At Healthify, we've consistently gone above and beyond the minimum required. Today, we maintain the technical and operational procedures to be HIPAA compliant, but we have recently begun taking steps to be HITRUST compliant as well. Although HITRUST is a process that takes a minimum of 18 months to complete, we feel this is the next, vital step in maintaining even higher security standards.
